The following diagram and instructions are meant to assist you to refill your specific inkjet printer. Printed copies of these instructions are also included when you purchase one of our Inkjet Refill Kits. If you require additional assistance, please contact Surplus Inks directly online or by phone.

1. Unclip the plastic handle (prize off from the back) on top of the cartridge.

2. Temporarily seal the outlet hole with adhesive tape.

3. Puncture the silver tape and enlarge the hole beneath to make the 1st filling hole (see diagram).

4. Assemble the syringe and filling needle and fill with ink.

5. Push the filling needle into the centre of the sponge, withdraw slightly, and very slowly inject up to 7ml of ink. Stop filling when the ink reaches the top of the sponge.

6. Seal the 1st filling hole with strong adhesive tape.

7. Make a 2nd filling hole (see diagram) by puncturing the silver tape with the filling needle and fill the reservoir beneath with ink.

8. Seal the 2nd filling hole with strong adhesive tape.

9. Replace the plastic handle.

10. Remove the tape from the outlet hole. (Ink may drip slightly)

11. Install the cartridge and run a priming cycle as per printer instructions.
