The following diagram and instructions are meant to assist you to refill your specific inkjet printer. Printed copies of these instructions are also included when you purchase one of our Inkjet Refill Kits. If you require additional assistance, please contact Surplus Inks directly online or by phone.

1. Using the screw provided remove the vented plug(s) from the filler hole(s). (Twist it into the small vent hole and pull the plug out). OR increase the size of the vent hole(s), using the screw, to allow the filling needle in.

2. Assemble the syringe and filling needle and fill with the appropriate color ink.

3. Insert the needle through the appropriate filling hole, (See diagram for filling hole colour) and push into the cartridge.
   Note: The cartridge contains sponge and a slight resistance may be felt. Continue pushing inwards until the filling needle reaches the other side of the cartridge.

4. Inject up to 27mL of ink (BC01/02) or 9mL (BC05) or until ink appears at the filling hole. Unused ink may be returned to the bottle. Clean the syringe with water and dry for future use, or use with a different color ink.
   Note: Do not reseal the filler hole(s).

5. Mount the cartridge and run a priming cycle as per printer instructions.
