The following diagram and instructions are meant to assist you to refill your specific inkjet printer. Printed copies of these instructions are also included when you purchase one of our Inkjet Refill Kits. If you require additional assistance, please contact Surplus Inks directly online or by phone.

1. Remove the cartridge from the machine. Drill a 3mm hole in the position shown.

2. Turn the cartridge upside down and slowly inject up to 40ml. of ink.

3. If the cartridge will only accept 10-15ml. of ink, the ink has not flowed through the internal sponge. The cartridge should be swung through a slow pendulum action with the print head facing down to move the ink towards the nozzles. N.B. Ink may leak from the nozzles. Use absorbent material to prevent spillage.

4. Seal the hole with the plug provided or strong adhesive tape.

5. Rest the print nozzles on some absorbent material to prime them by drawing out some ink.

6. Install the cartridge as per printer instructions.
