The following diagram and instructions are meant to assist you to refill your specific inkjet printer. Printed copies of these instructions are also included when you purchase one of our Inkjet Refill Kits. If you require additional assistance, please contact Surplus Inks directly online or by phone.

1. Make a filling hole in the base of the cartridge using a small drill, bradawl, or other pointed implement. Temporarily seal the outlet hole with adhesive tape (See diagram above).

2. Assemble the syringe and filling needle and fill with ink.

3. Insert the filling needle through the hole and push into the centre of the cartridge.
   Note: The cartridge contains sponge and a slight resistance may be felt.

4. Slowly inject up to 20ml. of ink, or until ink appears at the filling hole.

5. Seal the filling hole with strong adhesive tape, and unseal the outlet hole.

6. Unused ink may be returned to the bottle. Clean the syringe with water and dry for future use.

7. Mount the cartridge and run a priming cycle as per printer instructions.
